Craft Stick Snowflake

The other night I was going through all my craft supplies, when I found some craft sticks (aka Popsicle sticks) and I started wondering what fun Holiday craft we could do with them. That is when I decided to do Craft Stick Snowflakes.  The best thing about this craft is that my 4yr old and do them herself with no help, which is great because she is always so proud when she makes something.

We hung our snowflakes up in the doorway, but you could just as easily make them into ornaments for the Christmas tree if you wanted.  I think these would also make a great gift to give from the kids too.

Supplies

Craft Sticks (4 per snowflake, 8 for a large one)
Glue
Paint
Glitter
Gems
Buttons

Directions
Glue your sticks in a criss cross pattern across the first stick (NOTE: for a large one start by gluing two sticks together 4 times so you have 4 double sticks then follow these directions)
Wait till glue is dry then you can paint your snowflakes
After paint is dry decorate them with your glitter, gems, and buttons
