While I was out shopping at my dollar store the other day I found these cool foam shamrocks and I just had to buy them even though I was not sure what I was going to do with them (do you do that too, or am I the only one?). After a few days I finally decided to make a shamrock wreath out of them. We need more St. Patty's day decorations around the house and this looks great on my wall. We had a few extra shamrocks when we were done so I just hung those on the wall with the wreath.
This whole craft cost us $1.00 we also had 4 extra shamrocks so if you bought two packs of shamrocks you could make 3 wreaths for only $2.00. Gotta love the cheap crafts.
Supplies
Foam Shamrocks
Glue
Double sided tape (optional, I used it to hang it on the wall)
Directions
Place your shamrocks in the pattern you want.
Have your child lift one shamrock leaf to place glue then put back down. Repeat till all shamrocks are glued together
Now just put some double sided tape on the back and hang it on the wall.
Question of the Day: Do you decorate for every holiday or just Christmas?
