Groundhog Day Dessert

Groundhogs day is fast approaching and I wanted to do something fun with the kids this year for it.  And well my oldest has really been bugging me about making a recipe (she is wanting to cook more and more now) so I thought we could make a fun dessert to celebrate this special day (hey it is the best day of the year because it is also my Birthday).

And well I was really inspired when we went to the store and I saw some teddy grams.  I mean come on they look like cute little groundhogs don't they?  Okay maybe not totally but well they are pretty darn close (just don't go look up a picture of a groundhog and you will believe they look like this by the time you are done reading this post!).

NO SMASH COOKIE!!!
So I got both girls together to help make this yummy treat and they really had fun making it.  The only problem we had was when it was time to mash the oreo cookies.  My youngest got VERY upset that we were smashing the cookies. She started crying and screaming COOKIE COOKIE.  Who knew smashing cookies would be so tramatic.  But no worries, I gave her a cookie for herself and she recovered quickly and my oldest was able to smash the cookies (not sure if I should be worried over how much fun she actually had smashing them though).

Supplies
Chocolate Pudding Mix
2 Cups Milk
Oreo Cookies (as many as you like)
Teddy Grams (one teddy per dessert)
Ziploc Bag

Directions
Mix your pudding mix with the 2 cups of milk.
Pour your mixed pudding into cups then put in the fridge to set.
Place your Oreo cookies in a Ziploc baggie and smash with rolling pin.

Sprinkle your smashed cookies on top of your pudding in the cups.
Place your groundhogs (aka teddy grams) in the dirt.
Now eat and enjoy your Groundhog day Treat!
