Last year we made some pine cone turkey's and I have to say they came out pretty sad looking. I was very disappointed in how they turned out and really wanted to redeem our crafting abilities this year and give them another go. And I have to admit I really like how they turned out. Much better than last year's.
And my daughter is so proud of them, but well she is proud of all the crafts she makes. And she is becoming quite the little crafter. She is constantly breaking into all my crafting supplies and making things. It is actually kind of cute and I just love too see all the things she comes up with. She also does not need much help on projects anymore I just kind of tell her what to do then she can do it. My baby is growing up!
Supplies
Pine-cones (we bought ours at the craft store)
Plastic fall leaves (you can get them at the dollar store)
Glue Gun
Googly Eyes
Orange & Red Foam Paper
Directions
Cut out some beaks and gobblers from your foam paper.
Glue your googly eyes onto your pine-cone.
Then glue your beak and gobbler onto the pine-cone.
Glue your leafs to the back of your pine-cones, We used 6 leafs per turkey.
She is one proud crafter!
Aww those are very cute!
