PIZZA MUFFINS
When starting a new blog you always wonder what that first post should be. Well seeing that my great friend Anna and I decided to do this Awesome blog all about doing and making fun things with our kids, my first post should be something fun right? How about fun and YUMMY!!
I came across this recipe for Pizza Muffins recently and decided that tonight was the night to try them out. I tweaked the recipe a little (I did not think my daughter would want onions and olives in it) and I must say they were pretty darn good. My husband however seemed a little disappointed when his dinner plate consisted of a few muffins and not a steak with a side of mashed potato's. However he did think they were pretty yummy and my daughter LOVED them. So I will be making these again for sure.
I do think that maybe these would make a much better lunch for my daughter than dinner for the family, so next time these will be lunch.
Here is how I made them tonight.
Pizza Muffins
Ingredients
3 cups bisquick baking mix
1 can (10 ¾ oz) condensed tomato soup
¾ cup water
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup diced pepperoni (feel free to add some of your other favorite pizza toppings)
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions
Combine all ingredients in large bowl; Stir until just moistened |
Bake at 350 degrees for 18min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. Serve warm
Here is my daughter enjoying all our hard work in the kitchen.
These look so yummy! My kids love pizza and I love your idea of having them for lunch. I'm pinning this on Pinterest and will definitely be trying out the recipe. Thanks for following my blog. I'm following back! :)
